What personal data I collect and why
Contact form
When you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, subject and message. I use this only to answer your question. The message is sent to my mailbox by email. I don’t use your details for newsletters or marketing, and I don’t share them with anyone.
The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering your question (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), or taking steps at your request before an agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) if you ask about a booking or purchase.
Server logs
Like any website, my hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type. This is needed to deliver and secure the website.
Cookies
This website doesn’t use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. WordPress only sets functional cookies for the site administrator when logging in. Regular visitors don’t receive these.
Embedded content
Links to Instagram elsewhere on the site are plain links. No data is shared with those services unless you click them.
Who I share your data with
- TransIP (Netherlands) hosts this website and my email. They process data on my behalf, under the GDPR.
- I don’t sell or share your data with any other parties.
How long I keep your data
I keep contact form messages for as long as needed to handle your question, and delete them after 12 months at most, unless they lead to an ongoing agreement.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to its use, and to request a copy. Contact me via the contact form and I’ll respond within one month.
If you believe I’m handling your data incorrectly, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Security
This website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to the site and mailbox is protected with strong passwords.
